Powder coating consists of electrostatic applying of powder coating and following curing (polymerization) by heating in a specialized chamber oven.
Resulting coatings have very good mechanical properties, high rates of resistance to UV radiation and chemical agents. The thickness of the layer is much higher during the single painting than with traditional wet systems, while the surface is characterized by a smooth appearance without streaks.
Important advantage is the speed of the service because after polymerization and cooled down, painted elements are suited to transport and installation.
Duplex
In many cases, just hot-dip galvanizing provides sufficient protection against corrosion. However, there are reasons why we use complex security Duplex (hot-dip galvanizing and powder coating):
- significantly reduce the impact of external factors on steel, equivalent to the prolonged corrosion protection
- reduction in maintenance costs over the life of,
- the possibility of using a powder coating of insulation between the different materials (steel-aluminum) in order to eliminate contact corrosion,
- to obtain the desired aesthetic effect.
